I sincerely hope that you will be successful. 😊 🏃. I watched it on TV last year and was amazed when the commentator told us that about 50,000 people had been successful but more than 10,000 did not run, chickend out so to speak and around 500 gave up before they got to the Tyne Bridge which is under 5K from the start, I know that you would not be one of those so I hope your entry will be successful.

My Bessie mate lives in Newcastle. She says you have to wade through rivers of discarded plastic bottles and just shuffle along at the beginning of the race! Newcastle is amazing city though, I'd love to run there/this one day .

Yeah I did it last year, I was just veering to the other side at water stations.
