Inspired by others on here, take a bow Flick and JuJu and still needing a decent amount of Kms to get to my years target of 700 i had decided to do 5k every day until year end.
However someone at work is organising a charity push for the Children's Cancer Fund at Newcastle RVI trying to get the highest total mileage in January from all participants.
So I got thinking and have decided to try and do 50 5ks in 50 days, I must be mad but it will get my 2019 mileage off to a cracking start!!
So run 1 today was a quick one, got to the 2k mark 19 seconds under the pace for 30 minutes, just about held on for the next 2k but conked out at the end to finish in 30 minutes 42 seconds.
Slow recovery jog tomorrow.
Run happy, run safe.

Best of luck in your streak! Let us know how they get on, and as Bluebirdrunner said, make sure to continue to enjoy those runs. Mixing it up with some easy "recovery" runs, some fast runs, some intervals will help keep it fun, plus exploring some new areas.
