Having graduated a few weeks ago, and then gone away for a couple of weeks, I took myself back to W7 to get back into regular running. It hadn't been too hard until today.
I left home at around 7.30 am for my W8R3 run, and was running along happily with songs for my choir's next performance ringing in my ears, until Jo told me I had only five minutes to go. I had allowed myself a few sips of water along the run, but I then really struggled for the last two or three minutes. Just managed to get myself there - felt I was too near the end to give up. Promised myself not to have any wine the night before I run next time!
It was only when I got home that I realised that I'd gone out without eating my usual banana! So now I'm feeling particularly proud of myself having run for 28 minutes on a glass of water, and nothing to eat since 7.30 last night. I don't propose to do that again. I need to take care of myself at my great age!
This forum is great - I immediately felt the need to share my story! I'm sure I'm not the first to have forgotten to eat.

I try not to drink wine the night before I run too😊, and its harder to keep your water intake up this time of year. Well done for completing your run and hope your next run feels better! 😊xx
Thanks for the replies. I don't think I'll be forgetting to eat again! And I may well lay off the wine before I run - though a bit difficult in the run-up (no pun intended!) to Christmas.
When I noticed there isn't a 'graduate' badge next to my name, I got worried! Were all those early morning runs in vain? Then I realised that this it the Bridge to 10k forum not the C25k one - which is the one I have graduated from. I doubt if I'll ever make 10k, but I do intend to do a park run before too long - maybe even before Christmas.
