Thank you to all of you, who have posted questions. I have taken the advice shared with you guys and had a Magic 10k today.

I had been struggling to break the 45 minute barrier in my runs. I always felt I had enough in the tank to complete a 60 minute run, but mentally couldn’t break through.

I read some of the community posts/ questions in the 10k group and Aldo put a post up too, seeking any advice.

I did it today👍 10k and sub 60 minutes( by 48 seconds). Feel on top of the world.

Slowed down and took 3 days rest from running. I am absolutely elated.

Big thanks from me to all the administrators who help keep us on track with sound advice and lots of encouragement. I have taken your experience and knowledge and reached another milestone successfully.

Consolidation runs now, until New Year, then next challenge. Half Marathon run without stopping.

Many thanks to you all

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Thanks for the kind words Linda. It’s down to the fantastic advice I have read and been provided with from this running community.

Recovery from the run has been a bit longer today. So rest day tomorrow and shorter run next time out.

Happy running Linda. Just happy I am able to run.

I had read some of your warm words of encouragement to other runners who had posted up on the community board. I used some of your knowledge and experience in my own run today.

Thank you for sharing cheekychipmunks, your encouragement for others helped me too.

Thank you so much OMH! I love to pass on encouragement to others as I still receive plenty myself, and I know how much it has helps me.

These forums are truly amazing. I run a mile from most social media, but these two boards are definitely the exception. ❤️

Happy running! 😀👍

Thanks for your warm words Deals1.

In my message I was was trying to covey the mantra of “slow and steady” which is what helped me reach my goal. If I have come across as crass, I am sorry, it wasn’t intended.

Happy running Desls1👍👍👍👍👍
