I had been struggling to break the 45 minute barrier in my runs. I always felt I had enough in the tank to complete a 60 minute run, but mentally couldn’t break through.
I read some of the community posts/ questions in the 10k group and Aldo put a post up too, seeking any advice.
I did it today👍 10k and sub 60 minutes( by 48 seconds). Feel on top of the world.
Slowed down and took 3 days rest from running. I am absolutely elated.
Big thanks from me to all the administrators who help keep us on track with sound advice and lots of encouragement. I have taken your experience and knowledge and reached another milestone successfully.
Consolidation runs now, until New Year, then next challenge. Half Marathon run without stopping.
Many thanks to you all

Thanks for your generous comments cheekychipmunks.
I had read some of your warm words of encouragement to other runners who had posted up on the community board. I used some of your knowledge and experience in my own run today.
Thank you for sharing cheekychipmunks, your encouragement for others helped me too.
Fantastic to achieve 10k and sub-60 in the same run! Totally agree that reading others' posts and direct support plays a big part in our achievements 😀
It’s through Runner’s like you and many others( to many to mention) that I have been able to draw inspiration from and achieve my own milestones.
Really appreciate your warm comments. They will be read iver and over again, (along with the other fantastic comments I have received) when I need to find some inspirational warm words.
Happy running Bluebirdrunner.

Really appreciate your encouragement MuttleyShuffle.
In my message I was was trying to covey the mantra of “slow and steady” which is what helped me reach my goal. If I have come across as crass, I am sorry, it wasn’t intended.
