After nearly four weeks on the IC with a hip flexor strain I went for a 3k test run yesterday morning. On the run I could hardly feel it but afterwards all day it definitely felt uncomfortable. Last night I did yet more stretching and even tried using a foam roller. This morning all seems OK, no pain or discomfort, I have no idea what’s going on here I am hoping that’s a good sign but I don't know.
I have done so much stretching over the last four weeks I must be at least a couple of inches taller by now! That combined with Yoga and walking every day in an effort to maintain fitness has certainly kept me busy but I am itching to get running again. Do I try another run tomorrow or spend yet another week stretching?, I don’t know but this is certainly going on for a lot longer than I would like
