Ran my first 10k since finishing C25K (in September). Went running on a long run just over a week ago and did 9.5k without relalising I was so close. If I’d know I would have kept going. I’ve stopped tracking my distance and time whilst running as I’ve found it much easier to just run and enjoy it. Went off on another long run yesterday afternoon and ended up running 12.5k. It took me 1.5 hours so the time wasn’t great, but it was fun. I’m also really encouraged to have been able to run for 1.5 hours. It felt like there was more in the tank but my route took me back past my house so it felt like a good time to stop. Looking forward to another long run next week.

Great distance and best done slowly. Great that you are just running to enjoy!
So casual - and so far! Well done NCC, you sound like a natural long distance runner! 👏👏
Do you see a HM in your future? Something tells me there will be! 😀👍
Wowee NCC! Go you! 😁 That's great you can run just for the joy, I am totally wedded to my Garmin/Strava! Amazing you had more in the tank too - well done! 😊🏃👍💪🎉
Fantastic NCC! Fancy doing 10k+ without realising it - mine was carefully planned down to the last metre! Well done 😀
Wowser what fab distances and your enjoyment is obvious!
A 7k for me this morning but I like little reminders ticking off each Km Also finding my pace is increasing natually over time.Happy running.
Well done, that's really impressive. I finished C25K in September and am pleased I can now do 5K!
