So....... I did my first Parkrun and was part of a crowd of almost 500!
I did my 5K, a little walking gremlin cut in with half a mile to go but i did finish running!
I promptly recorded my time and whizzed to get the dog out of the car and did another 2k so he was pleased. But I didn't LOVE it. I didn't get that euphoria I had hoped for. I'm bemused why my mojo has lost it's sparkle this week. I shall be up early to start Wk3 tomorrow and do the 3.5k in Ju-Ju's plan. I wonder if it's because it's colder? Or that I run in the dark - except at the weekend. Just not sure! Don't misunderstand, I'm not about to give up by any means but I just want to get that BUZZ back that the C25K app gave me.

I think everybody goes through that feeling at some point. Just cut yourself some slack and try a bit of mindfulness. Try to remember why you decided to start running in the first place. The mojo will come back x
Ah thanks Sandie. I appreciate your support. Slow and steady progress. I'm going to try one of the Nike guided runs in the morning and see if that helps
