Up in Scotland so out with a running partner for a change. Done the route before but walked sections because I was just back from an extended (lazy) holiday. This time it was just because of a lorry turning. At what I thought would be about half way me friend said “oh good, downhill now”! I hadn’t even realised. 😆 Laura told me we could stop (decided I couldn’t leave her out) but kept on for a few seconds to get my first 5k for a while (mixture or laziness and mixing it up!). Turns out the elevation gain was 29m compared to a usual 16m at home so all in all very happy as I had lovely scenery and felt quite comfortable all the way. Now all I need is a customised track at a slightly faster pace. That’s my next challenge!
The attached photo shows a run I had up here about S month ago - fewer leaves this time and no time for photos!!
