Yesterday was hardest run in long time

Not sure what happened, but yesterday first time in long time, I experienced difficulty running. Am I losing stamina or is it weather. I am worried. Here I am trying to achieve 10 k. Yesterday mere 6k was a task. I somehow finished it. Do you guys experience it too sometimes?

Yes, everyone, probably without exception. Sometimes you can pinpoint factors, other times not so easy and as a one off not worth probing over much.

Don’t underestimate how much effort goes into the magic plan. There were times that I struggled to do 4k!

I did learn that the slow and steady mantra was needed on the long runs , and you shouldn’t try to do the same pace on all runs.

Yep, definitely. I ran my first 10k yesterday with relative ease. On Monday I ran 4k which was much much harder. Bet your next run will be amazing. 😀
