I have been running (not much usualy 7km, twice a week) for almost two years. For the second time I am now feeling a pain on the knee lateral (the outter side). Trying to find about it online, I believe is on the lateral or posterolateral ligament. I am going to let is rest for a week but wonder what types of stretching and exercises should I do for healing afterwards?
thanks
Thanks!

You should try to find out what is causing the pain in the first place so you can deal with it. If you see a sports physio they can recommend stretching and exercises too.
On a simple level, could it be your shoes? Do you need new ones? Are you running on a different surface? More uphill? Faster?
I had something similar three years ago, it stopped me running for months and I still have niggles from time to time. Mine came from my ITB and a lopsided hip. Lateral knee pain could be coming from any part of your lower body so once you know which part you can do specific strengthening and stretching for that area.
