It's a sad goodbye...

To these two wonderful starter-uppers. They saw me through my first runs, my hell of week three, and my first 5k. They've been there for me throughout, until I replaced them with a pair of black and FLOURESCENT yellow soled beauties of the same model. They will be missed, and much reflected upon, but time marches on. I shall be replacing these wonders with a new pair from my local running shop based on my gait after having it tested, but nonetheless, I shall miss the red shoes. Or as an old lady I have been seeing this month (I'm a carer) says ever time i see her, RED SHOES! THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

I shall be later on, just a shortish recovery run of between 2-5k. Then next week I'll hopefully (knee permitting, it's being quite tender at the minute) be pushing for 8k or so again.
