Graduated C25k on Monday and have done 2 more runs .
Stretched to the full 5k today time 34.17
Think I need to do a few of these and increase my pace. Will keep an eye out for JuJu's new 10k group posts.

Congratulations OverTheFields and welcome to big school.
Well done and your 5k time is none too shabby. Keep enjoying your running and take your time. The biggest risk without the safety of the C25K discipline is pushing too far, too fast or too soon!
A 5k in 34:17 at this stage is great stuff. I decided to concentrate on distance after a number of 5k consolidation runs and am working my way towards 10k using Ju_ju's plan (2nd 8k run scheduled for today). My 5k time is still over 34 minutes, but I think that is ok for me (the 66 in my nickname is significant!). I have been persuaded that "miles in my legs" is the way to go at the moment and for me that is working. There is a ton of good advice around on this site; it made me aware of decisions I needed to make both to avoid injury and to recognise what my priority was (long runs in lovely countryside) and how best to achieve it. Have fun!!
