Lovely 5.36k run round the loch today - pace not as good as my usual street runs but scenery much nicer. Also ran an hour or so after breakfast which again was different - think I prefer before. Some discomfort with inner thighs on past couple of runs - not chafing - just a slight ache. Anyone any ideas ?

Sounds lovely!
The discomfort is likely the result of you increasing your running. Monitor it, and rein back if it troubles you - take a few days rest. Chances are though that you'll find it gets better as you get stronger.

Maybe the terrain. Undulating terrain makes your body work harder 💪👍😃🏃♀️
