I've rewarded myself with a new pair of shoes. I found this pair of Nike Free RNs in a nearby Nike outlet and they're my first, tentative, toe in the water of minimalist running. They're not my ideal colour choice, but I can't resist a bargain and they are a bit stealth-like.

They’re low drop shoes so they might take some getting used to If you have Another pair of run shoes you could alternate between the two for a while, as the lower drop can make your Achilles twang
Thanks for your advice. I mostly wear Hoka Challenger ATRs (so very different construction) and will continue to wear them for my longer runs. I plan on wearing the Frees for form drills and 10 20 30 interval sessions to gradually adapt.
