When I started C25K I pulled on a battered old pair of Salomon trainers that I'd been wearing to the pub for a few years. To be honest they've been absolutely brilliant - I've had no foot problems at all. Garmin Connect has been keeping track of the distance I've run in them ever since I got my watch as a graduation present. We've covered a lot of ground together!
However the soles are getting very worn now, particularly under the ball of my foot which hits the ground first every stride, so it must be time for some new ones. I run on a mixture of tarmac and mountain trails, so I chose Salomon Wings Flyte as theyβre a hybrid road / trail shoe. Here's to the next few hundred kilometres ππ»ββοΈπ£π

Iβm off for a gait analysis soon - keep postponing it. My current Asics appear to be perfect (my *touch wood* dormant PF was caused by a different pair), although Iβd prefer to have that confirmed.
Those look mighty smart. Will look forward to hearing how their inaugural run goes! πππ
