Running in the rain? Not me.

Running in the dark? Not me.

Got back after a late finish from work, stuck my running gear on, added a head torch and off I went. It was getting dark, obviously going to throw it down sometime really soon and I was out in it running around like a mad thing. Influenced by our very own Fabulous450. Should have been a 9km. I knew I wasn't up for that but afterFabulous's last post I went for a run anyway.

I may also have been influenced by one of the guys from the workshop saying he'll run the 10km with me in a couple of weekends time. I'm going to have to hold my own, we can't have the workshop showing up the marketing dept. Thought I might make my 10km a sponsored run and donate the money to one of the Canal and River Trust volunteer groups, as I've used the canal towpaths for a lot of my C25K journey. Also planning on doing my 10km on the towpath. That means no backing out though, whatever the weather!

Lots of incentives there then Baddie. And a great idea to raise some funds for that charity given that you benefit from all their hard work. Nice to have a running buddy for your 10 k too, so long as it doesn't get competitive. 🏃🏃

Well, with a name like Pirate it would have to be a water-themed charity 🤣⚓️⛵️⚔️

Lovely idea, Baddie! 👏👏 Sounds like you’re getting serious. How lovely to run for a good cause and thank the people who make your runs so enjoyable! Nice one! 😀😀
