What a rush! I arrived at Marylebone station with a few minutes to spare for my train. The bad news was it was leaving from platform 6 which is about 400m away from the ticket barrier. No problem – I ran and made it easily.
Home by 6 pm, with the light fading. Time for a 4k? Definitley – running kit on, Spotify on my phone and out the door fast. When you've been dashing it's not easy to settle into a relaxed running pace is it? The upshot is that I completed today's 4k in 23 minutes 56 seconds, so an average pace of 5' 59" per kilometre, which Runkeeper tells me is a new PR. And I just made it home before sunset. I'm now relaxing with a pint of water before showering and dinner (paella!). My first 9k on Sunday – yikes, it's getting serious! Happy running this weekend!
