It was my 3rd consolidation, a 33 minute run. I was hoping to reach 4K as I had got to 3.8k in 30 minutes. Alas it was not to be. Running out was fine, quite a nice head on breeze, reached 2k and turned back. All going well. This is when it got really hard. The breeze was now at my back but I couldn’t feel any of it. The sun was directly in my face and it was HOT. I carried on and carried on until I could do no more. I had to walk. Gutted! I walked for around 2 minutes until I reached some shade then ran on to 4K. It wasn’t the 33 minutes I was hoping for but even with the walking I still did it in 34mins. To be honest, because of the walking I expected it to take longer. So, all in all, I’m happy. Thrilled to have done 4K. 😁👏

Well done for gritting it out as long as you could. There's no shame in that. Feel good about it. You'll have a better run next time. Sh*t happens. And there's nothing wrong with having a bit of a walk. You're great!! xx
