This is what a knackered runner looks like...

Oh my word! They're not all easy, are they.

Got home earlier than expected after a long journey and realised that I had time for a run before it got dark. I was tired before I set off - I really am a morning runner! - but I realised that if I didn't run today, I wouldn't be able to run again before the Parkrun on Saturday so I put my shoes on and I went out.

Just a short run; just 3k... but of course once you've done 3K you think I might as well make it 4... and then you think I might as well make it 5... so I did!

Well I was exhausted but my pace was fine - a bit slow but no wonder! And I did it! That's what C25K does to you!

Really lovely photo of Languid_Lil, I do agree with you that not all the runs🏃 on C25K are easy👍, but they are all possible as long as you don't push yourself too hard😊. Well done 😉for your run 🏃today, I am sure now that after that run you will be looking forward to the parkrun on Saturday morning.

You look like that after 5K? Cripes, I've seen more knackered looking runners after W1R1... oh, that was me looking in a mirror!

Brilliant Lil! Love your photo! 😀

Can you imagine yourself a few weeks ago saying ‘I’ll just pop out for a 3k run?’ Isn’t it fab now we can?

And of course you went further, so double amazing! 👏👏 Have fun at parkrun! I can’t wait! 😀🏃‍♀️😀

Strange how it creeps on you isn't it...3, oh why not 4, oops just did 5 by accident. So nice to go out for a short run and only find out half way round you are actually doing a slightly longer run. Saves the mental anguish of worrying about doing that longer run I find :)
