Not sure if it's appropriate to post this, so tell me if it isn't.

I read this today, and thought it had a lot of sense in it:

I read that article in The Guardian, yes it did mention C25K as a low-intensity exercise or LIIT- low-intensity interval training, very interesting and thank you for directing us to that article.

thanks for sharing that. Plenty of food for thought. since starting c25k I've had a big think about my general fitness and how it impacts on my mental health.

I've also noticed (thanks to jujus 10K plan) that there are benefits to different sorts of running. I feel v different after a 5K by myself compared to a parkrun and the slower runs are different again to the interval runs. They are all good but work out different bits of my brain as well as my body.

I think the mental benefits are at least as important as the physical ones.

All looks good until you get to the end and find it's just been an advert for the latest "Hollywood" exercise book.

I'm afraid that all Guardian articles are like that. All newspapers these days are just propaganda outlets for political opinions, unbiased objectivity died some time ago.

But there is still some interesting stuff in it.
