Pounding Headache

Hi there running chums.

Had planned a short run this morning but woke at 6am with a pounding headache so took paracetamol and had an extra hour's sleep instead.

Feel much better now; beautiful day so will leave work early and run this evening instead. May take the dog too for the first time; not sure how I'll manage the, er, practicalities but hey ho, gotta be done.

Parkrun on Saturday obvs.

Hi Languil_Lil, sorry to learn that you had a sore head this morning and had to cancel your morning run. Just hope you can run it this evening after work with your dog, dogs can be good company when out running.

When I am out a walk or running I see this man every morning with his dog, he is running at I would say a 24 minute 5K pace, I think he does about a 10K with his dog at that pace, I feel a bit sorry for the dog, however, he has it with him every morning and I can't see that it harms the dog.

Have you seen a doctor about your headaches Languid_lil? I know you’ve mentioned them before.
