Laura’s speed podcast

Crib

I ran my 3K for the start of Ju-Ju’s second week using Laura’s speed podcast, I was really pleased with the results it gave me, 4 PRs with a fastest 1K & fastest 1 mile.

I thought about using the stamina podcast for the second run of the week, has anyone tried these podcast on 10 is the magic number program 🤔

Must have downloaded them ages ago and forgot they were there. Will try one of them on my 4km run this week. Thanks for reminding me.

All three can be a perfect fit with magic10.

Speed intervals with your short run or 30/20/10 intervals

Stepping stones with your 5k or indeed your long run.

Stamina also as above.

Hope you enjoy Laura’s graduate podcasts.

Lots there and worth a listen without running initially.🤔

I’m in a bit of a pickle hands wise but my Lip and nose are scabbing over nicely I daren’t face the cheese grater weather yesters though. The thought of stabbing wind and rain on my raw features was too. I much to contemplate 😬

You take good care of you and stay chilled.💥🏃‍♀️💥👏👏

As a detail for Crib, meant to say that Stamina is a little higher bpm than Stepping Stones.🤔👍

Atb you.👏👏

Stamina is my fave of the three. The fast five minute section at the end is a toughie! 💪😃👍

Brillant.Love it.

I am weird and a techie 🦕.

No playlist, only Laura’s podcasts and even just Stamina and you’ve got that feeling and on repeat, 158 bpm , and going no where.

No gear and no idea.

Daft as a brush, Happy and harmless just me and Laura for an hour.🙃🤔🙈😂😂

Fantastic, I love the speed podcast it’s just right to make you feel like you’ve pushed!! I’ve done the others but yonks ago, the music is definitely better than C25k which was truly awful...

Yes, used stamina for 5k, speed for the shorter run and stepping stones for the longest run because it is easy paced. The problem is that as the runs get longer you run out of podcast. Haven't found a solution to this.

During my last run I was thinking if there is any software to edit the podcasts. Something to stick let's say 10 minutes before the warm down section ... maybe I should have a look on the internet ...

I love these podcasts. I still use Speed and Stamina now - usually as a means of motivation when I'm feeling a bit reluctant about going out as Laura's 1234 keeps me going.

I don't see any reason why you can't use them as part of your build up to 10k.

Definitely found something that works for me, used stepping stones podcast for my second run of the week this morning which ended up giving me a huge grin 🤣, got a 29:17 5K for my effort. Will switch to stamina podcast for my third run. Thanks for all the advice on using these podcasts on the program. Have a great next run everyone 🏃‍♂️
