Hip bursitis

Putting my 10km on Hold. Unfortunately I’ve got a recurring injury and the extra kms are making it flare up again. Sleeping is so uncomfortable . Back to 5kms 2 or 3 times a week once it’s settled down. This running malarkey is two steps forward three steps back . Feeling frustrated. Sorry not sorry for moaning.

When you’re feeling better it might be a good idea to do some yoga as it’s great for strengthening and opening up the hips Something you can easily do at home too

Last thing at night I do two hip exercises - leg raises and hip thrusts. you can google how to do them 😃

Thank you. I do a bit of Pilates when I remember but may need to be more diligent 🙄😉

So sorry Pippatong, but a good idea to stop doing something that is making things worse. The runs can wait .
