Shoe storage

I think im losing my marbles as I swear I posted this earlier today. But so I don't lose my shoes as well I have invested in some organiser's. I thought juju would appreciate the concept. Anybody else organised on the shoe front?

Thankyou, but this is just the start of my winter re-organisation. Need to get the whole cupboard cleared out and turned into a man activity cupboard lol.

You haven't been following my responses to ju-ju- 's messy running gear post a while back. My gear is HORRIBLY disorganised. I fold the lycra and it sneaks around behind my back partying. The shoes aren't so bad as i only have four pairs (well running anyway, the retired runners are in the other room!), but even they manage to sling their laces around and swap their leftie socks for righties!

Oh it will be a thing of beauty once finished. It will be a cornucopia of run/gym/snowboard/sailing/paragliding and motorcycling gear.

Actually for such a planned emporium I may need to build an extension first.. we will see lol

We just turned our smallest bedroom into a “walk in closet” for outdoor / climbing (/now also running) kit...still ran out of space though...gear just breeds! 😂😂

Haha 😂 That's crazy! Remind me of a friend who puts each pair of shoes in a box and then sticks a photo of the shoes on the side of said box 🙄

Uh oh. I’ve done that with shoes I don’t wear often - the ones that won’t fit into our joint shoe rack. I know I have too many shoes but at least I know where they are in the spare room when I want a pair of dressy heels.

I only have one pair of runners though! 😂

OMG that is so uber organised. I only ever have one pair on the go and a retired pair for the gym! HOWEVER its the rest of the family that could do with this sort of spick and span organisation.... I could get them one each, I love it!!!

Ten pairs of trainers? Are you mad? I'm like ju-ju, one pair on the go and a retired pair for cycling and gardening. Both are slung in the bottom of the cupboard with the walking boots and flip flops. I must not let them see this hanging device or they will be demanding shoe rights and better accommodation.

They aren't all in there lol. But one of those pairs is a spoddy pair of northface walking shoes, another is just a jeans shoe and a third is a reebook gym shoe(albeit it is describe as a light runner)

Yes i'm guilty of having a tidy cupboard If you mean, guilty of having too many shoes, I don't think that was ever in doubt lol.

Love the shoe organiser & concept of the man activity cupboard. I will not be sharing this with Mr Slinky as he will suggest I turf my overflow shoes, jackets, fabric stash & farty procks out of the spare room cupboard in favour of his running, skiing, kayaking, paragliding gear - including the glider! Think we need an extension....
