After 2 weeks off with a swollen ankle, resting and eating ice-cream I finally decided it felt (almost) well enough to test it and went for a run yesterday.
5km done, ankle no worse than before the run. Slow though. Got lightly rained on but got back before the heavy rain.
I have arranged to run from mine to a friend's house which I reckon is about 5km in time for dinner. She says I can stay for dinner despite the fact I'll be sweaty and horrible. That will motivate me!
