What a nice run this is! They kept saying something about a hill though? There’s a slight incline you have to do twice, but it’s nothing line the ‘hill of death’ at Wimpole....

Good time! Great when you actually enjoy your surroundings too. Question: I've just graduated - do the runs become easier? 🙄

If you keep on running, say a few times each week, you should see steady improvement. I graduated at the end of July with my 1st park run, which I completed in about 32 minutes. I did my 6th park run yesterday in about 26 minutes. It was an easier route than my 1st one, but I’m able now to run further for longer, doing around 12k the other week in about 1.25 hours. My plan has been to increase my distance on my longest run by around 10% a week, and saving the racing pace for the weekly 5k park run. I’m now starting to consider interval training to increase my pace, but the most important thing is to make most of my running slow, steady and long training workouts. Hope that helps? 🙂

That’s great MadDave - thanks! I’m on holiday atm but hoping to do this parkrun thing when I get back. Consolidation runs until then......👍

Nice one, I tend to be a case of 'thats a hill? What made it, a mole? Pansies!' as I go up mine! That's a fine time also I see, well done!
