My progress on the 10k magic number plan went well earlier this week. I ran further than ever before. I’m hoping to do a local 10k race in a week and a half and trying to get some distance under my belt but when I saw time I was super surprised 8.7k in 55.36😮

Wow, look at your progress Runsome! Fabulous! You’re going to smash your 10k, I hope you realise that. 👏😀

Can’t wait to hear how you get on. 😀😀

I’ve surprised myself and hopefully I will get through it. The question is how should I Prepare I’m going to do parkrun Saturday but what to do next week in prep for Sunday’s race ?😀

Would applying C25K rules apply maybe? Slow right down to where you feel comfortable if you’re struggling? If that’s the case, I’m sure you’ll be fine, plus the momentum and atmosphere of the race itself will help too!

Go you! Bet you’ll smash that 10k! 😀💪🏻😀

Good advice hopefully I will do ok. I don’t want to come last but will just be pleased to get round very hilly course. Plus I think there is a medal at the end. I’ve never been given a medal before😀

Omg an actual medal. 🏅🏅🏅 You realise we’ll need a photo don’t you? I can’t wait to be ready for a 10k! 😀

Good luck! 🏃‍♂️👏🏃‍♀️

Yes an actual medal I hope they’ve got some left by the time I finish and I promise to get a photo. It won’t be long until you’re doing the 10ks. Just think how quick it’s gone since starting our C25K journey 😀
