I've been lurking on the bridge to 10K forum for a while and now having graduated (for the second time) from C25k, I thought it time to say HI!
Since graduating I've run a 5k in 48.5 minutes and continuing every second day with either 30 minutes or 5k. Right now the plan is to do this for a few weeks and then I'm keen to get to 10k and perhaps a half marathon next year.
I'm overweight but on slimming world and over 2 stone gone so far which makes each run a little easier!
This morning I downloaded the 10k trainer by C25K, is this the right app?
Happy running!

It’s very doable any many of my fellow C25k grads have completed it too/ nearing the end. Have a look at it as another option. Good luck with your onward running. 😬
Another vote for ju-ju's plan. It's nice and simple, and flexible as you can do the runs in any order to suit you. Do you have a parkrun nearby? Well worth trying if you can get to one.
Hi Caroline, welcome and well done on graduating c25k, it took me a few attempts too.
I’m following jujus 10 is the magic number plan but if you like the podcast you found then go for it. I wasn’t a fan of the c25k+ podcasts personally but they were good as something to follow for a couple of weeks whilst consolidating my 5k/30mins before moving on to jujus plan. You’re free to choose whatever suits you now, enjoy 😊
Thanks Jenny. I can’t seem to get past the data protection screens of the app to see if I like the look of it so I’m just going to delete it. I’ll give the podcasts a listen and see if I like them. I do like to have someone talking in my ear 🤣
Yet another vote here for Ju-Ju's 10K plan - don't need an app (apart from Strava/Map my run etc). Very easy, very doable, very.....everything really. On Week 5 now and up to 8K. Having graduated in June, and still a couple of stone over weight, I never thought I'd be able to...….but here I (we) all are!!
