Got up early this morning as I planned to run a 5k. Felt awful, didn’t sleep well at all. Scratchy throat and a bit of a cough.
Ate half a banana, then felt queasy. Thought this run isn’t going to happen. Had a coffee, my last alarm went off and I figured I run slowly. If I felt terrible I could just come back home.
I was breathing well and keeping my shoulders down, do not want to look like the Honey Monster and don’t like the neck pain. I was quite hot, why did I wear long sleeves? It must be because I left later and it’s warmer at this time.
Nope it’s because I shaved a whole 7mins off of my 5k. 38.09 my newest PB

Superwomanish is all most of us will ever aspire to, but we'll take it! Yay! Whoop whoop!
You felt a bit meh before you set off but you set off anyway and look what you did!!!!! Just think what can happen when you're firing on all cylinders. You just might achieve Superwoman status
I did wonder why my shadow had no neck, then when I complained about neck and shoulder pain someone told me to make sure I relax my shoulders down when running. I didn’t know I wasn’t till then.
It so funny as you are being overtaken by every Tom, Dick and Harriet it feels slow and hard. I hope Thursday is a good run but if not as long as I get it done I’m happy 😊
