This morning I did my final C25K run, 4km in half an hour. My next challenge is a slow park run on Saturday to see if I can manage the 5k if I plod along.
The thing is, some months back I signed up for a 10K in mid-September (long story). I know I’m not going to be able to run all of it, but I want to push myself to achieve as much as I can. I’m loving the journey of running 🏃♀️

Congratulations on your graduation and Welcome to the 4k club- more people reach 4k than 5k. I did Parkrun as my post grad run too. Don’t forget your 5 minutes brisk walk ; you can do it from the start line as I did, run 30 mins and see how you get on from there. It’s best to start at the back on the first run. Be careful to keep your normal pace as it’s easy go get carried away. You are still a newbie runner and the advice is to consolidate for 3 weeks before increasing duration to avoid injuries. You don’t want to end up on the injury couch after all your hard work.
Enjoy your running freedom, with or without the w9 app.
