What the heading really means on this modest forum, is here is the only place to be to get yourself through safely the C25k programme, your consolidation period ,onto bridge and onwards if that is your desire and decision.
The experience, knowledge, care and compassion are here in spades.
I am 7 months into my running now, still a new novice runner, but because I have the time and shear pleasure from it, I am gently trying to push boundaries, just because they are there, and in no way am I going to push a self destruct button and end my pleasure.
For me now,and drawing broadly on the experience on here, I have completed 2 weeks of daily 3kβs.For me it is like an apple a day, and little and often concepts.π€
So I am going to start building to two apples a day.π€
New plan, 7x( 2x3k) = 42k/ week, for 3 weeks. Then the 4th week , back off as repair, 21k week, that will include one 10-15 k run to confirm and maintain my 10K readiness.
None of these ideas are mine, they reside with members of this forum.
Sometime ago I welcomed a comment on the forum, any fool can run everydayπ€, that is so true for a fledgling runner and a new runner, we are all different and must be tuned into the guidance rules.
Hope my plan works out as I carefully build it up and address for me the daily pleasure but also a pace improvement.
Keep bringing your gems to this forum and finding what you need for your journey.
Happy shuffling.

I love your comment about pushing the self destruct button - it is so true that we do it to ourselves. Listening to our bodies to prevent destructive actions is so important - I have found that out the hard way and had to reign my distances back for now.
You've got lifes' wisdom to draw on to look after yourself along the way π keep on shuffling through and nudging those boundaries as you go. ππ
I wish I had more time to run and less time taken up by work even though I love my job π€£π€£
Oh of course... you get it free now!! Lucky devil π€£π€£π€£
Hgv renewal is medical at 45 and v then 5 yearly after that until 65 then annually. π
That's a nice thought. I hope so. My dear friend that I lost in April always maintained there's nothing but I told her if she's wrong she's not to sulk but come tell me... I guess she's sulking!! π€£π€£π€£
That sounds like a good plan Tbae ...hard work but a good plan that Iβm sure youβll be able to achieve. You are right you are still a novice runner & so am I but you are a wise one, who knows what suits them, listens to his body which all adds up to pleasuarable runs...I want to be just like that! x π
You are there already and doing great.π₯πββοΈπ₯
Been out all afternoon with the grandchildren. Now there is hard work, which you know all about.
Thankfully their Mother arrives home tonight. I am exhausted.πππ
Enjoy your holiday.πππ
Good for you. Itβs amazing how progress develops if you respect and listen to your body. Mine is now happy to run on consecutive days sometimes, but if I ache or am more tired I back off. Mostly itβs a matter of waking up in the morning and feeling I have it in me so I do it. Couldnβt have done it back in April when I did my first 10k and couldnβt have dreamed it was possible last October when I began c25k. So good luck with your plan, and may you never lose your very obvious joy in running πββοΈπ
