Hi all, I completed my latest run of week 4 this morning. I was aiming for 6 mins per K but for reasons best known to itself Strava didn’t tell me my distance and pace per half K as it usually does.
I did it in 24:21 so 6:05 per K but can’t help thinking I would have done it in less than 24:00 if Strava had been spurring me on. 😳😠
Not to worry, it’s still another run under my belt 😊 with 5K Parkrun to look forward to on Saturday then I’m halfway through this epic journey! 😀👍🏃♂️
Good luck everyone if you’re running today. It’s going to be very hot out there, particularly in the south 🤯🙀

Blooming Strava - mine also reset itself a fortnight ago, for some reason. If you tap "Settings" on the screen with the big red "Start" button, you get a menu including "Audio Cues" - but even if that says "On: Run" you need to tap again, because behind that is an "Announcements" setting which lets you choose 500m, 1k ….. or "Off" which seems to be the reset default
But that looks pretty good unaided pace judgement to me, in any case
Strava is a law unto itself. It’s turned off half way through on me before now! At least it is tech breakdown and not operator error - my garmin watch tried to tell me how many lengths of the pool I’d done yesterday. Turned out, without my glasses on, I’d set it to swim mode 🤦♀️. Don’t beat yourself up, time is an illusion! 🤣🏃♀️ Well done.
Well done getting so close on pace without Strava. I don’t seem to get issues with the Runkeeper app cutting out, appart from when my Bluetooth earphones keep cutting out! (Has me wondering how far I’ll accidentally end up running if they don’t restart again...)
