Can’t believe it, but I’ve just done my best pace ever. I might regret saying this, but roll on week 6!😳😲

Well done but it’s not a race! Slow it down! 😃👍 It’s about finishing each session

If you push things too soon you’ll hurt yourself. Running legs take time to build. Slow running and rest days build legs 💪

Ah yes well, my plan has been to achieve the distance and then go for speed. Shorter runs get hilly, which then benefit my long runs. Also plan my gym sessions carefully into my schedule 👍. Thanks for the tip

Can you tell us that again? And again and again? Set an alarm if you need to :-)

I nearly came a cropper last week for pushing too hard. No intention of doing that again in a hurry. Too much to lose and for what purpose?

I suspect in C25K land the sheer numbers meant we were all shoulder-to-shoulder all the time and there was always someone in step with you. Here the numbers have thinned out a lot (I think) and somehow "keeping up" seems much more important than it should be.

I've drunk the Kool Aid. I'm your Number One fan (and not in a creepy Stephen King "Misery" sense).. xx

Ok, what’s Lool Aid?

What Jim Jones had people drink in Guyana in the mass suicide in the 70s. Not normal US supermarket Kool Aid. It was spiked. I just meant I was a card-carrying misswobble convert and would follow her to the end of the world. And give her my last Rolo :-)

Glad you are enjoying the plan! It’s fun, eh? But as the esteemed misswobble says, ya might wanna slow it down, especially as the distance increases. Slow long runs are bliss. x
