A cool, or at least cooler 8k done this morning at 6.30 along the old railway line. That just leaves the "little 5k" for Friday morning I think. It doesn't seem that long ago that 5k needed major effort, now the next big huddle will be the 9k at some point next week.
Week 5 - thats the big one done :) - Bridge to 10K

Well done, not far to go now. Yes, 5k becomes a short run once you have reached 8/9/10k

There are many reasons I love this forum - but 2 from this post are:
# Seeing what others achieve is inspiring
# I live round the corner from Brampton Valley Way and had never even considered it as a running route !!
Well done BTW
Thanks Paul . . . Brampton Valley Way is my favourite route, highly recommended, nice and quiet (well early in the morning anyway) and some old trains to look at to add a bit of interest
This may sound stupid but I take it you did 4k out and then turned back? Did you start at the Windhover or a bit further down by Sedgebrook Hall? I'm just trying to judge the distance on the map and in my head I would have thought the route looked longer than 4k

I started from further up at Merry Tom Lane this morning, 4k up and then 4k back. I do normally start from the Windhover but fancied a bit of a change this morning
Well done, I just did my 8k run aswell so I know the feeling (even our times are similar ).
