Lovely lunchtime walk

I’m usually very bad at taking a lunch break- often end up eating at my desk. Today, I decided to make an appointment with myself and take a walk. It’s a five minute walk to a beautiful park that I’d never visited, and which has recently started Parkruns, so I decided to check out the route. There’s a pretty steep incline (even by Valleys standards!!) but plenty of distractions too. (These are Gorsedd stones, which are involved in some of the ceremonies during the National Eisteddfod). It’s not my closet Parkrun to Home but I’ll probably do it at some point- when it’s not so warm perhaps!Mwynhewch eich rhediadau- enjoy your runs xx

What a lovely, peaceful place. I too share the desk bound lunch break thing and I really should avoid it. I’m going to follow your lead tomorrow.

Good for you Jay! I’m trying to make some small but significant changes to help me feel healthier. It’s a long way from being a habit but if I can do it a few times a week that’ll be a start 😊

I think at times both of our jobs have to come first and make a proper break impossible.

But I recognise I’m in the wrong habit of defaulting to staying at my desk. I’ve given myself the excuse based on those impossible times.

I need to follow your lead and go out whenever it’s possible. Hope you manage it more often as well.
