No, I donβt deserve one yet. Only returned to running after injury and holiday on 21 June. Letβs see how July goes - so far, so good! I have signed up to do my first 10K race in September.
Well done you, and would be great if you carried on the plan. No its not the same rules as C25k but obviously the plan is designed to ideally get you there without injury etc. Well done I am v proud
Hi Ju-Ju, I ran my first 10k last night (still can't believe it) so could I have my graduation badge please. Thanks again for the great plan which got me here albeit skipping a few weeks. I'll be continuing the format for a while anyway as it works really well. Thanks Steve
Thanks ju-ju! I feel so proud to see that Graduate10 badge by my name. And yes, a HM has been playing on my mindβ¦
From someone who wasn't sure whether to get on this bus, I've gone to bounding towards it and hitting my 10K tonight!
As my surgery date finally come through and threw a spanner into the works, I had to make quick decisions and pressed on with a hope and a prayer.
Thankfully I started with a decent level of fitness and it all come together.
I was grateful for all the advice and guidance around the forum and of course from ju-ju- and Bluebirdrunner especially.
As for what's next, well it's going to have to be a post-recovery re-run, so I get to join the journey all over again! Not sure where I'll be able to pick up on Ju-Ju's plan, but will probably start with some power-walking. I'm quite looking forward to it, as I know what to expect!
I've thoroughly enjoyed this journey and hope to enjoy it second time around just as much π
Thank you! Go in Tuesday and just want to be on the road to recovery already. I know you can't rush these things though and I can already see I'm going to be a terrible patient. π¬ π
I canβt believe Iβve just ran my first 10K. I feel great and finally all my training has paid off. Iβve lost over 2st and now my desired weight too (double bonus).
I would love my graduation badge... and a new challenge please π
