My new shoes finally arrived today, after some DPD wrangling. Hooray! I took them out for some intervals this evening and...yeah, they're alright. They're more padded than I'm used to, and took a while to warm up, but sprinting feels nice. They look very swanky. Are they my favourite? I'm undecided.
I put them into a collage up there to mark the occasion, along with a photo of a nice tree fungus I saw and some weather.
(I did put this on the marathon forum but I'm not sure a tree fungus belongs there?)

Are those the Cloudflow? (hard to tell from the photo) i have the Clouds and the Cloudflyers, but am keen to try the Cloudflows when the others wear out. If they are they, let us know how you go with them. I don't think I'm likely to try any other brand of shoes now, they are amazing.
I think the Cloudflyers are the best ones for longer distances? I totally love mine; I truly feel like I am flying! I think it is because they are so light compared to my ASICS. Enjoy your new shoes! 👏😁🏃♀️
There are the Cruisers too, which seem to offer more classic stability, I think that might be better for me for distance running. The Flyers will be great for 5s and 10s though.
I love my flyers - same colour as yours. I’m interested in the trail ones too. I bought the Cloudcruisers in the Runners Need sale, but they were too big so have gone back. TBH the flyers are fine off road as well, except for getting the odd twig or large stone caught in the soles 😂
They look great, you have the 2018 ones which differ a bit from the ones I have. Mine nearly went in the bin this morning though as I had to stop 3 times to dig out rocks from the heels. Just unfortunate that the drovers roads I run down have aggregate that is just the right size to get lodged and then be big enough that you feel it digging in to your heel. Probably not a problem for most folks but a royal pain for me, thinking of maybe gluing in some soft foam in the crevice of the heel. Strava says I have done 500km on them and they still look in great nick so I have a way to go yet before I can change em.
On definitely describe these as long distance shoes though, they have lots of lighter weigh options like the cloud x etc for sprinting around.
Love my Flyers too. As you say you notice when they warm up (not just me then 😀) and seem to become more responsive. My other best shoes are Brooks Glycerine 15's. One of them (one of each 😂) will be taking me on a marathon in October - will just need to work out which ones
