8 weeks of consolidation

It's been 8 weeks since I completed the Bridge to 10K, these past 8 weeks have been about consolidation following the same pattern as the plan. A long run (alternating between 7, 8, 9 and 10k); a short run (when did 4.5k become a short run) and a 5k . I have run 23 times (missed 1 run due to travelling back from India); a total distance of 135k; longest single run of 10k and fastest average pace 5:40 per K.

Next 4 weeks I plan to add a strength class, had the 1st session this morning. I'm hoping I can walk tomorrow! Then a well earned holiday

Strength is a good idea. Don’t go too fast too soon. That’s a fast pace there!

Go,steady, take your time and build those legs carefully 🙂

Thanks did lots of sliding lunges yesterday and my glutes are feeling it today. Was pleased that I managed 8k this morning. Will try and keep up the strength class.
