Repeating C25K, Week 5 - when run 2 is not run 2

Today has been one of โ€˜thoseโ€™ days.

It started at 3:30am when I was woken up by my youngest dog (who was very relieved to be allowed out๐Ÿ˜‰). Which meant I was hanging laundry out by 4:30am. Managed to doze until 7:15 before we started the day properly.

If Iโ€™d not already arranged to meet a friend to run, I would quite liked to have gone out and enjoyed the dawn (such as it was).

Skip forward to 9:30am and friend and I meet up - she was late because she hadnโ€™t been able to find her shoes ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ - complete with 5 dogs between us, and friend with the beginnings of a filthy cough ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

We did not run/walk the 5k that we were intending - yes, I know Iโ€™m doing a plan, but... a chatty, dog walking run/walk isnโ€™t the same as going out to do a โ€˜properโ€™ 5k in the middle of it. Right?

What we did was W5:R3 (not a typo) of my plan, because the actual Run 2 involved 12 minutes of solid jogging and friend didnโ€™t think she could do that on her first run back after the Half Term holiday.

Can you see where we did some gentle fartleks on our way back to her car?

Up a mahoosive hill as well! I think that's quite something! Well done, but if you don't mind, I'll stick to my plan of Week 2, run 1 next :D

Itโ€™s not that mahoosive, itโ€™s just the way the app squished everything to fit to the phone screen. ๐Ÿ˜€
