Lock Laces?

Anyone got any experience of these - good or bad?

Still working on options to sort out my sore foot. I'm doing stretches now each day (thanks orangeguy ) and they seem to be helping, but i'm now wondering whether i've been over tightening my shoes. Current laces are quite short. I was bought some thinner Hilly running socks than i'm used too (I usually use the really thick comfort ones) and they left me with more space in the shoe and more lace to tie. Foot felt better (could be coincidence).

Was thinking longer laces are worth a try just in case but seeing Lock Laces everywhere so wondering whether to give them a bash instead.

I think if you start having to worry about overtightening your probably compensating for the fact that the shoe is wrong or your over anxious about something else. You should not need to tighten it past the point where you could actually take it off without untying. If you can't you definately have it too tight and it may be because it is too wide, too long or your just one of those people who likes a bit of sandm.

I’m anxious about lots of things so quite possibly 😀

But my right foot is slightly bigger than my left and the laces do come up quite short so I wonder if I’m doing them too tight just to actually tie them. Might give some lock laces a bash - look like they are longer and you cut them down so might let me lace the shoes more loosely. Plus it’s another running related purchase and that’s always good.

Sorry, I have just replied to this under another post of yours! Posted this link for tying laces in a different way - might be worth a try?
