What's next?

I enjoy reading everyone's posts and i have gained a lot of good information and advice from others. I began my running journey at the beginning of Feb with C25K and graduated beginning of April. I then have followed Ju-jus bridge to 10K programme which has worked well for me and I enrolled for a 10K race to keep me motivated and aiming for something to work towards.( I need a challenge) I regularly do the local park run as my 5 k mid run each week. I completed my first 10K race on Sunday (Bamburgh) and was really pleased with my time in just over 56 minutes.

I know I need to decide on either maintaining the plan to complete another 10K? Or take the next step-Half marathon? Is there a good training programme that anyone can recommend for bridge to Half marathon?

Thanks for all the great posts and advice much appreciated!

I can’t offer you any advice but so very well done! I graduated a couple of weeks ago and start Ju-ju’s 10K plan mid June. Hope to have your dilemma soon!! 👏🏼👏🏼💪🏼😜

I'm sure you will have. The plan worked well for me ....but I needed a goal to keep me motivated. Running solo can be easy to say I don't think I'll bother today. Good luck with the plan.

I’ve entered a 10K in Oct - now that seems like a challenge right now!

That s exactly what I did, I signed up for a run at the start of the bridge to 10K programme. You have to train regularly now that you have spent money!!

Good luck

Thanks! And good luck to you - H&M seems next natural step. 😬
