Slowly making my way through a C25K again

My phone is charging, so I don't have pictures or anything to mke this interesting, but after doing W1:R1 on Friday, I was back to my own MapMyFitness plan this morning. I'm somewhere pretty much in the middle of it, I think?

I didn't get out quite as early as I'd intended, but was out before 9am (just about). Today's 'run' was actually and 11+minute brisk walk, followed by a 10 minute jog, followed by a cool down.

I... do not do well in the heat, plus I took both dogs with me, so I really did take note of the word 'jog' :D

Long story short: we enjoyed the sunshine, no dogs or humans overheated, the view and the birdsong were excellent as usual.

Next run is - if I remember right - 2 x 6 minute intervals, which I hope to do on Tuesday with a friend.

Well done for doing a run on the heat today.. I am not familiar with the Map plan ..

I recently re booted C25K and have now got back in the swing of running again..I think quite a few have done this ...

It is worth the effort and sometimes the pain ... keep going you won't regret it 😊

Thanks. I haven’t been away long - just since the end of February - but it is good to be back.

You're doing great! It must be really hard to start again. I remember the sense of achievement and rate of progress...along with the frustration on days when things didn't go as well as I'd have liked! Keep going...you'll be back up to your previous mileage again in no time! 😃

It’s not too hard, so far 😜

Thanks, it’s good to be back. I was missing it - but if it wasn’t one thing stopping me getting out there, it was another. Including taking on the new pup, who’s had a few health issues.
