American running Part 2 and my best 5k time 😁

I'm still not with it quite right yet on the timezones, after a late night I was once again wide awake a 6am so decided to put on the gear and head out for a 5k on a drizzly and cool morning.

Hillsboro was just waking up as I passed the dog walkers, squirrels and first commuters of the day.

The first km was a bit of a struggle but once I got passed that I began to find a really good rhthym.

At 3k I realised a good time was on and tried to really push it and was rewarded with my best 5k time of 31 mins 44 secconds, although I actually did a slightly faster 5k split during the Blyth 10k.

Having a great holiday already and the coast, Mount Hood and Portland Zoo are still to come.

Run happy, run safe.

Well done Chris, not long before you run a sub 30 minute 5k.

The actual time was 31.44 so still a way to go but it's possible I think.
