Got my stuff crammed in and respected the guidelines and learned a few more things.πŸ€”

My run was intended to be hard, using Laura’s stamina podcast, the top of the rice pudding was going to be in trouble.

Quite safe really, did my 10.2k, 99mins, it has loaded on Strava.Slow stuff around here just like me.πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

Because of my new and not yet strengthened running body I treat a 10K like a HM or M run.The tips say no strength the day before and that works.Yesterday crammed a double strength gym session. Not good for my run today.

Enjoyed it by backing off and making it an easy run.No pace thoughts just finish 10K.

Thought about the main components of my mantra 1234 cubed.πŸ€”

Must say the dominant thought was Bazza’s rhythm/dancing, John Travolta eat your heart out.Whatever,it got me round smoothly.

Had a very interesting future thought on the new intelligent pedal on the new electric cars,it is a single pedal that is an accelerator and brake and knows what to do when you press it.

I think that abdominal dissipation and transfer of oxygen when we run is controlled exactly like that. So our breathing is like a brake and an accelerator, just like the intelligent pedal.πŸ€” I am going to work on this idea.πŸ™ˆ

Thought of the two Mentor’s Mantras and when I need them they always spur me on.

Thought about a reply on running form from our Floss, many months ago I may sub consciously adopted her footfall and ground kissing technique. Not sure now because I see she is throwing her feet out the back, like a Greek Olympian Goddess on her way to HM.πŸ‘πŸ’«πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’«

Back then she was unfortunately on the IC.,but I am going to attempt to find that detailed description and advice.πŸ‘

Off to Surrey, family stuff.

No running shoes, no forum, maybe get a quick hello on the train either way.

I was planning to do Weybridge to Walton Thames bank, that was not a good idea.πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ Went down like a lead balloon.πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

Fair play you cannot be totally anti social with this running malarkey.Who can’t.πŸ¦•πŸ™ˆ Must practise my selective hearing more.πŸ€”πŸ˜‚

Atb, with all your weekend plans and programmes and for anyone like me your dreams. It is not possible to always be stuck in first gear.πŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸ‘

Well done on your 10k .. from your post it sounds like you had plenty of thinking time. Maybe blew a few cobwebs out πŸ˜‰.

Have a great extended weekend.

Thanks Richard and hope all going well for you.πŸ‘

Sometimes my one brain cell works harder than my legs, let’s just say neither are very quick.πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

The cobwebs just another thing to think about.πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚Your right and thanks for the reminder.πŸ‘πŸ˜‚

Enjoying it though.πŸ‘πŸ‘

Pleased with my 31.6 km over the past 6 days.

I am depending on you though, to provide the magic solution on a 30 minute 5k followed by a 29:99 5k to give sub one hour 10K.What a negative split that would be.πŸ€”πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Take good care of you.πŸ’«πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’«
