What happened 🤔

Not sure what iv done but last after my 7 k run it hurt to put weight on the sole of my right foot. Running was fine in the morning but now I’ve woken up and it’s bruised. I’m now slightly freaking out because I have my 10k race for life in less than 2 weeks 😐

Funny as I have woken up with a saw sole of my right foot after a 12K run last night during which I didn't actually feel anything (perhaps numbed by adrenaline).

Assuming it is just a bruise you should have plenty of time to heal and and still train. Just give yourself a few days off until you feel comfortable and then try a gentle run to see how it feels. Best of luck.

Thanks for replying. Yes I will defo give it a couple of days off. It’s a shame because that was my first run after a two week breAk x

Is it perhaps a case of over doing it on the first run back after your break? Fingers crossed for you!
