Tomorrow I'm participating in my first 10k race. I feel pretty confident I'll be OK but I've just had a week away on holiday! I did a short run, some long walks and some HIIT whilst we were there so I have stayed relatively active...any advice about what I should be doing today to ensure I'm ready?

- Know how and when you are getting there and leave time to get registered and visit the loo
- Have a post race drink and something to eat in your bag for afterwards. Lots of events give a banana afterwards but don't rely on it. Eat and drink soon after finishing if you can to aid recovery. Same with stretching do a bit, if only your legs as it will help.
- Relax, get a good night's sleep (if you can - easier said than done pre-race)
- Breakfast in plenty of time
