keen to get out this morning as i had not been out since sunday following the good old charley horse :-(

imagine my joy to find it had been raining - but i caught a break as it was not raining when i was out. Decided to do one of my early c25k routes today back on the grass and flat - to see if i could get through without a calf incident.

Well... I ran an extended course, (just short of 5k) and i was fast! like smashing my ave pace record by 10-15 seconds per km - and consistently throughout :-0 i wasn't even trying to go fast! It was meant to be a gentle get back into it type thing, and I didn't feel out of puff at all. No cramp either! So ready to try a longer run on Sunday

Feeling so awesome right now :-)

A short break from running can certainly improve your pace on the next run with nice fresh legs. Well done on the time improvement that is significant!
