After an awful parkrun last week I’ve had a much better week. 3 nice enjoyable runs . A 5.30am , a 7.30pm and a parkrun. At least 5k and even stretched to a tiny bit more on a couple. My timings were pretty average for me but most importantly I actually enjoyed a lot of each run. The parkrun yesterday was beautiful . The loveliest country park with lakes and swans and ducks and 270 daft people like me.
I’m going to try and do at least one 6+km this week but mostly I’m gonna make sure I enjoy it .
Have a fab week running everyone xx

Fantastic! I dont know which one is you, but you both look fab. Love the purple x
I’m the one trying not to do a honey g impression. Just needed the hat to try and keep the sun off my face. The purple tshirts are from the Notts Women’s Runners club that we are part of. They are awesome.
I just bought a peaked running hat to keep the sun off my head, as I had heatstroke a few years ago. Havent tried it out yet. Worrid it will fall iff or the peak will.distract me xx
I thought the same as I used to actually get distracted by my own glasses but I found I was so “in this zone “ I didn’t even realise I was wearing the hat till the photos at the end. Totally forgot. I think it did help a little with the sun but not that much x
Lovely photo 😊 glad you have had a successful week 😊
