.....but I'm posting this so that a fellow local forum member can see the route we use. Sorry to those who have seen this route posted before!
Nice day for a run with the club from work. The sun is shining and there's a nice cool breeze. We had a new recruit today, so we did a nice steady pace and did a few loops to avoid leaving them behind. 6.45k in 34:15, which is 5:18/km, so not a bad pace.
Happy running

lagatachocolate I run on my own in Luton, and it's fine. In fact one of my most vulnerable times was running from Harpenden towards Hemel and back when I got a whole heap of racial abuse from some fairly privileged youngsters on their way to what is supposed to be a "good school".
Oh pinkaardvark that's harsh criticism of my home town. 😢We get more bad press than we deserve. There are some really lovely parts of Luton and some really lovely people too.
Haha!! The route we use goes through Marsh Farm, which has a reputation as a bad area, but from experience you would never know it. There are areas of picturesque woodland with a river running through it. On our run today we passed many locals, all of who moved aside and smiled when we thanked them.
