Feeling pleased 😀 still slow but enjoyed this one. Definitely feeling better whilst I am running too.

I have booked to do 2 x10k’s: Race for Life at Tatton Park (end of June) and 10K at RAF Museum in London early September. The later one is going to be in memory of my dad who passed away after struggle with Alzheimer’s early April.

I really want to run both of them without walking even if I have do my usual plod running! I feel much more confident that I will be able to now - I have got time I think and each week I have been adding roughly about 0.5k to my runs so hopefully will be fine.

Once I have got past 10K distance going to work on my speed.

Was tested a little bit yesterday by my son letting out our terrier, Daisy (she was in hot pursuit of a cat!) surprised that I managed to sprint and catch up with her and I wasn’t out of breath! Thought in my head that maybe I could start to do some faster/shorter runs a’la Ju-Ju’s plan.

You will be fine for the end of June, I would think. Once you have done 7k, 10k is not far out of reach. In my case, it came suddenly and unexpectedly after doing 8k. I have actually never done 9k, I skipped from 8 to 10. You will do your dad proud x
